Heather Heyford was born in the Northeast, learned to walk and talk in Texas, and then moved to England. (“Ya’ll want some scones?) Now back in the US, she shares her life with her husband, Art; slobberador, Boone; and cat Cubby, who started life behind a car dealership along a busy highway but now is livin’ the dream.

Heather’s contemporary romance novels are set in the wine country, where she visits frequently to sample pinot noir—er,  research her works in progress. Her current project is a mainstream novel about three generations of hard-headed, soft-hearted women struggling to navigate our tumultuous times with humor and grace.
